I have not blogged since our trip to Haiti in January.  My only travel since then has been within the US -- three trips to Oregon to see our kids and our new grandson, a trip to Louisiana for continuing education, and a couple of trips to Indiana to see my parents.

Having slept very well through the sound of barking and howling dogs throughout the neighborhood, I woke up early -- right about first light -- and was soon treated to the sound of singing birds and the sight of my lovely surroundings, which I hadn't seen as I arrived in the dark the night before.
